Ed Dubinsky's reaction to the course reports

that are reachable through the WWW page

http://www.joensuu.fi/sciences/mathematics/DidMat/DidMatSpWe.html

I have read all of the course report material and I am very pleased with the responses of the participants.  They seem to me to
be overwhelmingly positive --- and for the right reasons!  The only negative aspect is that some of the participants were not related to university
teaching which was supposed to be the focus of the course.  Perhaps this could have been made clearer to them, although I think that this was done.

Overall, I think the participants pretty much got from the course what we hoped they would get and I am happy about that.  I very much enjoyed the
whole operation and I would be happy to do something like this again if the opportunity arose.

A couple of the comments referred to the possibility of designing a linear algebra course (or part of a course) based on these principles and the use
of ISETL.  This certainly needs to be done and if a project were organized to do it, I would be happy to participate.

Regards to everyone and thank you very much.
