Hidden down the quiet Forresters Lane alleyway just off Tory Street is where you’ll find us. Look out for the tropical street art by BMDisyourfriend and the bright pink neon lights. Ring the door bell and wait for the buzz. We only take bookings for large parties and events. Everyone is welcome at all times from early in the evening until well into the wee hours.

Functions

At Motel Bar we take function and event bookings on a case by case basis. The venue is potentially available every day of the year and at almost any time outside of our regular opening hours. We do not charge a venue hire, but rather prefer a minimum spend arrangement. The minimum spend is based solely on the amount of revenue the venue would usually generate during the time you request. It follows that the minimum spend is generally lower the earlier you wish your event to begin. If you would like to discuss a function or event booking with us please email: functions@motelbar.co.nz
