The meatball is a classic. Adaptable to virtually unlimited serving styles and ingredients, meatballs occupy a happy place in people's hearts. Bootleg has been filling tummies with its house-made meatballs
and spaghetti for five years has now placed the ball front and centre.

Bootleg Meatballs prides itself in controlling all parts of the meatball-crafting process. All meats are hand ground in-house using locally sourced ingredients.This in a superior meatball – Tender, succulent and possibly the best you've tasted!

Our mix and match menu allows you to configure one of five different balls with "Overs", "Unders" and "Sides”.
Or you can have their balls snack-style in sliders or a sub sandwich. And don’t forget about drinks.. Or dessert!

ABOUT BOOTLEG


Established in 2009 by Rob Gal and Elliot Krass, Bootleg Bar + Italian Food was a pioneering venue in Sydney's small bar and dining scene, combining premium, Italian-inspired cuisine with a cosy atmosphere and casual setting. Bootleg's owners responded to an emerging demand from diners for premium, affordable cuisine in a casual setting.

To do this, we focused our attention on our ever popular house-made meatballs and took them to the next level.

Bootleg Meatballs has a "50's meets cosy industrial feel", with a little more space added for our new diner-style format. The venue recalls the feeling of a local New York City bar. Diners can still eat at the bar or in a comfy, booth. Its famed Bloody Mary Martini, made from a clarified tomato consommé, heads up a tight martini cocktail list.

Original photographs of hip-hop icons, mods and punk rockers shot by legendary photographer Janette Beckman adorn the walls, alongside 80s ghetto blasters, vintage Big Boy collector figurines, cassettes and a bizarre collection Santa Maria statuettes.

Bootleg Meatballs remains a late night dining destination, with hot meals being served up ‘til 1am on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. A full take out menu is also now available.
