The Ritz Restaurant

The Ritz Restaurant is a magnificent bastion of the culture of classical service and a dining room of unadulterated opulence created in reverence to haute cuisine. Established by Auguste Escoffier, one of history's most influential chefs, The Ritz Restaurant is considered by many to be the most beautiful hotel dining room in the world and features towering marble columns, soaring floor to ceiling windows, vast kaleidoscopic ceiling frescoes, gilded neoclassical statues and a spectacular garland chandelier that envelops diners within a halo of light.

Head Chef

The classical and indulgent 'palace style' cuisine popularized by Escoffier is perpetuated today by Executive Chef John Williams MBE. Chef Williams's menus offer sensational contemporary incarnations of classical French dishes using the finest seasonal British ingredients.

The Menu

Guests of The Ritz Restaurant will be extended the highest level of professional service and can expect to dine on luscious native lobster plucked from the cold seas skirting Britain's coastline, plump game birds reared on the country's expansive heathlands, tender new season Welsh lamb from the emerald green hills of Wales, and crisp Yorkshire rhubarb traditionally grown by candlelight, amongst countless other delicacies from the British Isles.

Entertainment

The Ritz Restaurant offers a selection of entertainment every day.
