The Vortex New Zealand story starts 3 years ago, when Andrew Pullen (VNZ Managing Director) became frustrated that Vortex was separated from its customers by its retailers. He decided to do something about it.
After a couple of meetings, it was agreed that it was time for Vortex Spas to start selling our awesome spas to New Zealanders direct from the factory. Dealing directly with our customers allows us to give excellent service and pass on an awesome 30-40% saving.
It seemed logical to use the internet to showcase our great range of spas so we recruited a leading web development team to design and build a new website. And so vortexspas.co.nz was born.
In the first year, we thought we’d sell a few spas. We sold lots, and we haven’t looked back since. Vortex Spas are now sold in over a dozen countries around the world and are becoming quite popular in India, Sweden and Canada, to name a few countries. Our R&D team are continually innovating and improving our range and we can boast about quite a few pretty neat features that no other spa companies offer.
We wanted to give our customers the total confidence in buying our spas so we introduced a 60 day no quibble, money back guarantee. If, for whatever reason, someone decided they didn’t want their Vortex Spa within 60 days of receiving it, they can return it for a full refund.
A few months after we started, we realised that our customers need to have a quick, easy and inexpensive way of buying replacement filters and consumables, so we started www.spastore.co.nz. This has also taken off with a hiss and a roar and now sells all the other brands of spa consumables as well.
