"Human-Centered Writing" will take place in Kuopio campus in room MD100 with video connection to Joensuu campus M100 (Metria building).

"Presenting posters at scientific conferences" will take place in Kuopio campus room MD100, with bus transportation from Joensuu.
Note: No video connection to Joensuu!

School of Computing arranges courses on human centered writing and presenting posters
together with Jean-Luc Lebrun.
The courses are aimed for PhD students of any faculty.
There are two separate courses, one available for Joensuu and Kuopio and one available only for Kuopio. We highly recommend participating to both of them if you can, but you can also participate to only one of them. They are lectured by the same instructor on consecutive days.
Human-centered writing (2 days, Joensuu and Kuopio)
See "Registration" page for the course material. This course is lectured in Kuopio with video connection to Joensuu.
Presenting posters at scientific conferences (1 day, Kuopio)
There will be bus transportation from Joensuu and back for this course, but no video connection due to its hands-on nature.
Your trainer Jean-Luc Lebrun, is a seasoned and humorous presenter of advanced technology. He presented Apple Computer's research to audiences world-wide for over ten years and hosted the CyberChat program on Singapore TV. He won many presentation awards throughout his career. He has taught the course at about dozen of A*Star institutes in Singapore as well as in many Europen Universities.
