Past Activities
I have been a researcher at University of Joensuu since 2003. I have been attending workshops, demos like the following ones:
- Participant of the Human-Centered Visualization Environments seminar at Dagstuhl Schloss.
- Exchange postgraduate student at the University of Warwick under the supervision of Professor Mike Joy.
- Attended the Small PPIG 2006 at the University of Coventry
- Participant in the Working Group at ITiCSE'05 Conference. The working group will develop the tools needed to create interoperable plug-in across different tools in Algorithm Animation and Program Visualization.
- Demo presenter at ITiCSE'04, showcasing Jeliot 3 to the world, and giving away some free candies.
- Participant on the Third Program Visualization Workshop at the University of Warwick.
- Collaborator at ICALT'04, held at Joensuu.
- Demoing Jeliot 3 at Koli Koskitelut'04 and '05.

- Completed Mekrijarvi Summer School 2005.
- Attended Small Workshop of the Psychology of Programming Interest Group at Coventry University
As part of my last undergraduate course I prepared a small demo webpage for the International Lutheran Congregation, focusing on Accesibility
I was an Erasmus student at Joensuu on 2002. In 2005 I finished my Master's Thesis, titled " The Design and Implementation of Intermediate Codes for Software Visualization", at Joensuu, done under the supervision of Erkki Sutinen and Moti Ben-Ari.
Before coming to Finland, I was also a researcher and system administrator at the VAI/UNL laboratory at the CS department of the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM).
