Exercise session 2b

Exercise session 2 continues.

Perform tasks D) - F) as according to the following instructions

D) Descriptives

Select Analyze-> Descriptive Statistics-> Descriptives

Select variable(s) by clicking the arrow-button:

Click OK

Thus, you will see the following table :

E) Descriptives & frequencies

Select Analyze-> Descriptive Statistics-> Frequencies

Select variable(s) and click the arrow-button.

NOTE! By holding down the Shift-button, it is possible to select multiple variables at the same time.

Click Statistics-button to select the descriptives.

Select the following descriptives and click Continue.

Unselect Display frequency tables and click OK.(This will calculate frequencies, when it is selected)

Thus, you will see the following table :

F) Histograms

Select Graphs-> Legacy Dialogs-> Histogram

Select a variable for the histogram and click the arrow-button. Click OK.

Thus, you will see the following histogram :

Close the output-window by pressing X. Output-window can be saved by selecting save.

Close SPSS by selecting File->Exit or by clicking X.
